OPUS SIX looks for the European market.
OPUS SIX, during january the attractive band at Svenska Bilder "Swedish Pictures" and  the 1789, 
are or have sights to be an  international orchestra in double notes. 
There are one brazil guy and one American guy together with the rest Swedish, 
and they have contacts that can open the European market for the band.

We have plans to perform some months per year outside Sweden, says the maestro Gunnar Andersson,
 who have build his band with a goal for an international carrier. 

There is not enough places in Sweden to work for eleven months per year 
and then it is Germany that is be more interested and where some contacts have been closed,
 with good reference in mind.

The German market is relative new for the Swedish music groups and they really wants more of this types,
 says Lasse Fryklund, Svenska Bilders "Swedish Pictures"  chef of artists.

There are a top team in Germany for about 30 to 40 groups, but the rest is all bad.

There should be no problems for working license, says Gunnar Johansson.

- If they really wants a group, there should be no problem.

NEW BUILDED
The group Opus Six is a really new group with its today settings from September in last year.
Their first engagement where Kronprinsen "The Crow Prince" in Malmö
but then their name was Lindblads. 
But today the Opus Six have nothing to do with the old name Lindblads, 
says Gunnar Andersson - he just keep the old name for a short period.

The band configuration where new and we get a new singer. 
During the starting period we played in Norrköping. 
But this is passed now ? 
Its should be, anyway. 
OK, there is no sights of beginners in this band, for shore.

Other Swedish dance band plays mostly pop or the type Swedish pop. 
We are not in that category and what we perform is from folk music to phsycodelic pop, 
OK PoP, anyway.

In Gothenburg will Opus Six shows up their multi sides by switching between the  restaurant Svenska Bilder
 "Swedish Pictures" to the pop and dance club  1789,  for youngsters.

DIFFERENCE
There is a large different between 1789, where we play list music's and the restaurant Svenska Bilder
 where we play soft lovely music. 
There is actually a peaceful relax to play music that they can't dance to, 
when people sitting down for dinner.

Gunnar Andersson who started Opus Six from musicians he known from before. 
This is the members:
Gunnar Andersson - started as musician at nine years age at his home in Finnspång 
with his instrument  e-flat-horn. Later there been trumpet, saxophone and flute. 
He tried to study juridical in Uppsala, but decide to be a musician instead. 
He the started in Weine Renlidens orchestra in Stockholm and the Beatmakers. 
He writes and produce music's to restaurants and TV-shows..

The bands Brazilian guy is Antonio Guelli from San Paulo. 
He plays trumpet and horn. 
Antonia comes to Sweden with Lecuon Cubana Boys and has played with many large orchestra.

Bengt Linnarsson grown up in Jönköping, he been to artist school 
and found his interest for music when he needs to act with a guitar. 
He have played in groups as Mecki Mark Men and the original Swedish set up of the  musical Hair
and has been on a great music tour in America

The keyboard player Dave Treat comes from Flint, Michigan, USA. 
he comes to Sweden with Helmuth Tiede as trumpet player and bas player. 
Before Opus Six he had 77living addresses around the world.

From Linköping comes our drum player Björn Dahlin, he started 
in school ages with Dixie bands. he played seven years with Lindblads.

And then the singer of the band Anita - but she name her self as Pia 
- Matzen is her last name and comes from Jämtland. 
She was singing in local bands before she moved to Stockholm. 
After a break in her carrier she the found Opus Six.
 All male members of the band are also singers.
